Diagnostic Imaging

Diagnostic imaging exams are used by radiologists to examine a patient’s internal organs and structures to determine the existence of a medical condition. These procedures utilize a variety of imaging technologies that can use x-rays, magnetic fields, and ultrasound together with computers to produce images from which a diagnosis can be made. The type of imaging procedure or technology used depends upon a patient’s symptoms and the part of the body being examined. The proper test for your symptoms is determined by your doctor.

Women’s Imaging

Diagnostic imaging exams for women focus on specific female-oriented health issues and can utilize all of the imaging technologies used for general radiology as well as specialized procedures. Breast and bone health are two key areas as well as conditions pertaining to the reproductive system.
