Diagnostic Imaging
Diagnostic imaging exams are used by radiologists to examine a patient’s internal organs and structures to determine the existence of a medical condition. These procedures utilize a variety of imaging technologies that can use x-rays, magnetic fields, and ultrasound together with computers to produce images from which a diagnosis can be made. The type of imaging procedure or technology used depends upon a patient’s symptoms and the part of the body being examined. The proper test for your symptoms is determined by your doctor.
